Great place to stay, minutes from Acropolis.
Positive: We loved the spaciousness of the flat, the balcony, and the easy walk to the Acropolis. The street was quite busy but the blinds kept out a lot of noise and light. We enjoyed the neighborhood cafes over the crowded, touristy Placka.
Negative: We loved the balcony, and the small corner view of the Odeon and Acropolis, but we imagined the view would be better.
We would have appreciated extra towels, as one per person isn't enough for four nights.

Fabulous in every way!
Positive: Nothing not to like! Central location with some great bars and restaurants close by but not noisy.  Quality comfortable king size mattress and new linen.  Shower is a proper 90x90 cubical (not a curtain!) with powerful efficient water supply and modern fittings throughout.  Excellent contemporary, tasteful design in a beautiful traditional building.  Loved the 2 cute balconies.  Exceptional clean throughout.
Negative: Maybe a couple of more hooks/shelf in the shower room but it certainly wouldn’t stop me returning!

Superb base for exploring Athens
Positive: Very clean and comfortable apartment.  Balcony out towards the street with a view of the acropolis.  Nice neighborhood and the road is quiet - sometimes the tour busses use the road and we had fun waving at the people! There is a shop a short distance away ran by some lovely people selling some delicious things.  The location is fantastic - The acropolis and museum are a short distance away and Plaka district just a little further on.  For quieter atmosphere and the open air cinema there is Thiseio.  Also there is Philopappos Hill just behind which has some stunning views from the top - its a relatively easy climb to the top and loads of walking tracks all around - great for running.  Altogether I would say this apartment is a brilliant choice for exploring Athens.
Negative: Just some minor things.  The picture i think is of the apartment upstairs and has a clearer view of the Acropolis.  We did still have a nice view of the Acropolis from our balcony.  We couldn't get the air-conditioning to work but that's probably just us!

Positive: Πολύ ωραία εμπειρία στο διαμέρισμα! Η τοποθεσία στο Κολωνάκι ήταν ιδανική — κοντά σε όλα, αλλά ταυτόχρονα ήσυχη και προσεγμένη. Το διαμέρισμα ήταν καθαρό, μοντέρνο και με ωραίες λεπτομέρειες στη διακόσμηση. Το κρεβάτι πολύ άνετο και η κουζίνα πλήρως εξοπλισμένη, κάτι που εκτίμησα ιδιαίτερα για ένα σύντομο. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν άψογος, ευγενικός και διαθέσιμος για ό,τι χρειάστηκα. Θα το ξαναπροτιμήσω σίγουρα στην επόμενη επίσκεψή μου στην Αθήνα.

Positive: Η διαμονή μου στο Executive Apartment στο Κολωνάκι ήταν εξαιρετική από κάθε άποψη. Ο χώρος ήταν πεντακάθαρος, άνετος και εξοπλισμένος με ό,τι χρειαζόμουν για μια ευχάριστη διαμονή. Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική, στην καρδιά του Κολωνακίου, με εύκολη πρόσβαση σε εστιατόρια, καφέ, μαγαζιά και συγκοινωνίες.

Ένα μεγάλο συν ήταν η εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση από την ομάδα διαχείρισης. Ήταν ευγενικοί, πρόθυμοι και πάντα διαθέσιμοι να με καθοδηγήσουν για το πού να φάω, πού να περπατήσω και να μου δώσουν χρήσιμες συμβουλές για τη γύρω περιοχή. Επιπλέον, ό,τι χρειάστηκα κατά τη διάρκεια της διαμονής μου, το φρόντισαν άμεσα και αποτελεσματικά.

This place was spectacular. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was incredibly quiet and close to everything in Monastiraki Square. The views of the Acropolis from the roof top were both absolutely stunning and amazing. I would highly recommend renting this property while staying in Athens. Communication throughout our visit was excellent with Mr. George. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. Everything you need is just a short walk away. L’emplacement du logement était idéal pour visiter la ville pendant deux jours avec en famille, le logement correspondait parfaitement au descriptif et il était propre bien rangé et bien équipé. Il y avait même de quoi se faire un café le matin Le point le plus positif, reste sans aucun doute, le toit terrasse partagé avec cette vue, magnifique sur l’acropole, idéal, si vous devez visiter la ville à pied uniquement, l’autre a été très réactif pour nous aider à trouver un transfert pour l’aéroport ou de bonnes adresses dans la ville, je recommande 100 %.

Georges place was great. Location is ideal, just a short walk to local restaurants, and of course the Acropolis as you can see in the picture of the rooftop…steep hills to mention for anyone considering staying here with a disability. Bed is super comfy. Neighborhood felt safe. George gave us a great idea to find a luggage locker location which isn’t popular in the US. We found a local restaurant willing to hold our luggage until check in for a reasonable amount. Very cool! It was easy to stress free to communicate with George. I highly recommend!

Good experience.  I booked this apartment same day because I had to stay in Athens for an extra night due to disruptions with the ferry.  George was super responsive and allowed me to check in early, which was much appreciated.  The apartment was well located and clean, though the decor was not the same as in the photos (as other reviewers have pointed out).  The terrace does have a great view of the Acropolis. We had an amazing time at George’s place. The accommodations were cozy and clean. The view from the shared rooftop is incredible. The photos don’t do it justice. George was very helpful arranging rides to/from the airport. My only note: the listing mentions a washing machine, but there is NOT a clothes dryer so clothes need time to air dry.

Very close to the Acropolis and many shops, stores, coffee shops and restaurants (could walk everywhere, including rental car stores). Host was very friendly and extremely responsive. Let me start off by saying George was super responsive and helpful throughout the duration of our stay. Amazing at communication, he literally responded within minutes and has been super helpful throughout, answering any queries we had. My only qualm was that the apartment itself wasn't entirely like the picture, a few different furniture, perhaps the ones used for the photos are more for model display room pictures. However, other than this the location of the Airbnb was perfect! Easily accessible to the Pantheon itself and Athens city centre. Closest metro station was around 9 minutes walk, and so many restaurants and bars around 10 minutes walk away from the airbnb.

Very responsive host who answered all our questions when we were planning our trip and while we were on vacation. Great location to walk to the main historic sites of Athens. The small balcony was the perfect touch to have breakfast on every morning with a view of the acropolis.

We had a wonderful stay at Nikos and George’s apartment in Athens. Everything was spotless, thanks to the professional cleaning, which made a big difference. The apartment has new windows and doors that keep it incredibly quiet — a real plus in the heart of the city. The location itself is unbeatable, close to everything you might need or want to explore. But what truly made the experience special was the exceptional assistance from the hosts. Nikos and George were always available, kind, and ready to help with anything we needed. Great location and great view on the upper balcony which is not part of the flat but at the top of the building. The kitchen was good but is missing some cookware to be really great to use. One of the electrical outlet was popping out of the wall, overall, it's worth the value we paid for it but felt a bit like your usual "rented by a company" airbnb, where they did what they had to do to rent it and being acceptable, but not beyond. They do have the great point of the localisation. Some of the photos are probably previews coming from an architectural/home staging company, some of the furnitures are not the same.

The location is awesome – just a few minutes from the Acropolis, and there’s a mini market nearby. It’s only about 7-8 minutes to some restaurants you can walk to. The host is really chill and let us check in early. The sofa had a bit of a dusty smell, probably because it hadn’t been used in a while. Unfortunately, the air conditioner wasn’t working during our stay, which was a bit of a bummer. But the host was super easy to communicate with.

This listing is in the perfect location. Away from the tourist packed streets but close to Plaka and very, very, very close to both gates to the Acropolis. This is the perfect spot for being away from crowds but close to everything you could possibly want to explore in Athens. Perfect location, perfect space for 1-2 persons. Just 1 minute from the Acropolis whilst still being in a local “real” vibrant neighbourhood. The apartment is tastefully done, with partial Parthenon and Herodion views from the balcony and breathtaking full unobstructed view from the communal roof garden. You can almost reach out and touch it. Hosts are very responsive.

Wir, meine Freundininnen und ich, durften den Morgen auf der oberern Terrasse mit einem lächeln begrüßen durch den wunderschönen Aussichblick auf die Akropolis und dem wichtigen Nebenaspekt, dass die Sonne immer schien morgens. Danke für die schnellen Responses, als wir aus versehen den Schlüssel innen stecken lassen haben in der Tür. Dort kam direkt Xenofon, ein Gastgeber, und hatte uns geholfen, indem er den Schlüsseldienst gerufen und noch Geld vorgestreckt hat. Das war eine Heldentat. Wir würden auf jeden Fall nochmal das Airbnb besuchen.

房源非常乾淨清潔，George 回答訊速，也方便我們提早入住；太陽能熱水器熱能不夠用，也立刻告訴我們用電加熱，很負責的房主。 房源在住宅區，非常寧靜安全；離捷運車站稍微遠了點，不過走路還是可以到達，只是拉著行李比較辛苦。房間在01層，電梯非常小，行李太大，人跟行李還要分次上電梯，麻煩了點，小行李就沒有這個困擾了。旁邊的車道，停滿了車，要找停車位很不容易。 到雅典衛城南北的售票口，都很近，在房源的屋頂上也能觀賞到衛城的美景，很棒ㄛ！

I truly enjoyed this space. It’s a gem! There is just enough room to meet all of my requirements. I felt right at home. And the view from the rooftop terrace smacks you right in the face. We thorougly enjoyed our stay at George's property. We property was exactly as descibed in an amazing neighbourhood close to all the sites. A number of fabulous places to eat close by and a fantastic walk to the plaka. George was a fantastic and responsive host - when we had a problem with the heating (our ignornace) he was quick to respond and help us sort it out. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend George and this property. Many thanks George.

George is a great host. Always responding and helping for our needs . The apartment is modern, clean and updated nicely . We appreciated very much the rooftop with the gorgeous view at the Parthenon especially at night with a glass of wine . The location is absolutely perfect for a stay in Athènes . Acropolis and Plaka are just a few steps away . We heartily recommend George and his apartment.

George’s space is incredibly convenient to the Acropolis and Plaka, as well as a more contemporary neighborhood to the south.  We walked everywhere, even a good part of the area north of the acropolis.  The place was clean, had a great amount of space, and everything you need for a short stay.  We enjoyed his place very much!

Apartamento muy bien ubicado, a escasos minutos de la Acropolis y el museo y en una zona muy tranquila, sin ruido por la noche. La azotea tiene unas vistas increíbles. Fuimos con coche y pudimos aparcar sin problema. Si volvemos a Atenas seguro que repetiremos

I can’t recommend enough George’s place in Athens. The location was exactly what we wanted for our trip. Walking distance to the Acropolis and Plaka George was quick to response with every question we had. Super helpful. He even let us check in early, which was greatly appreciated . His place was pristine ! Balcony view from the Acropolis just an added bonus !! We absolutely loved it !!! Thank you George ! I will definitely be reaching out again when I come back to Athens !!
