Great place to stay, minutes from Acropolis.
Positive: We loved the spaciousness of the flat, the balcony, and the easy walk to the Acropolis. The street was quite busy but the blinds kept out a lot of noise and light. We enjoyed the neighborhood cafes over the crowded, touristy Placka.
Negative: We loved the balcony, and the small corner view of the Odeon and Acropolis, but we imagined the view would be better.
We would have appreciated extra towels, as one per person isn't enough for four nights.

Nieuw, modern en centraal gelegen.
Positive: Het is een nieuw appartement, heerlijk gelegen in het centrum. Het is modern ingericht en voorzien van alle noodzakelijk apparatuur. Het appartement was ook erg schoon. De ligging is geweldig: je kunt praktisch alles te voet bereiken. Om de hoek begint de eerste horeca al, zonder dat je daar last van hebt.

Negative: dangerous to mis step when reaching the bedroom due to the step entering/exiting the room (you can mark it somehow) as well as the difficulty to see (due mostly to the curtains over it) the step between the bed side and the window/balcony (needs better light and marking ! ... to avoid any accident...). Positive: Newly decorated and thoughtfully renovated, beautiful building, high quality fittings, convenient location with lots of bars and restaurants, design features, high ceilings. Good AC. Lovely balcony. Great water pressure, comfy beds, new towels.
Negative: Currently no lift, can be a little noisy late night on a weekend, although within the area it's as good as it gets as it is off the noisy streets.

Fabulous in every way!
Positive: Nothing not to like! Central location with some great bars and restaurants close by but not noisy.  Quality comfortable king size mattress and new linen.  Shower is a proper 90x90 cubical (not a curtain!) with powerful efficient water supply and modern fittings throughout.  Excellent contemporary, tasteful design in a beautiful traditional building.  Loved the 2 cute balconies.  Exceptional clean throughout.
Negative: Maybe a couple of more hooks/shelf in the shower room but it certainly wouldn’t stop me returning!

Superb base for exploring Athens
Positive: Very clean and comfortable apartment.  Balcony out towards the street with a view of the acropolis.  Nice neighborhood and the road is quiet - sometimes the tour busses use the road and we had fun waving at the people! There is a shop a short distance away ran by some lovely people selling some delicious things.  The location is fantastic - The acropolis and museum are a short distance away and Plaka district just a little further on.  For quieter atmosphere and the open air cinema there is Thiseio.  Also there is Philopappos Hill just behind which has some stunning views from the top - its a relatively easy climb to the top and loads of walking tracks all around - great for running.  Altogether I would say this apartment is a brilliant choice for exploring Athens.
Negative: Just some minor things.  The picture i think is of the apartment upstairs and has a clearer view of the Acropolis.  We did still have a nice view of the Acropolis from our balcony.  We couldn't get the air-conditioning to work but that's probably just us!

Positive: Πολύ ωραία εμπειρία στο διαμέρισμα! Η τοποθεσία στο Κολωνάκι ήταν ιδανική — κοντά σε όλα, αλλά ταυτόχρονα ήσυχη και προσεγμένη. Το διαμέρισμα ήταν καθαρό, μοντέρνο και με ωραίες λεπτομέρειες στη διακόσμηση. Το κρεβάτι πολύ άνετο και η κουζίνα πλήρως εξοπλισμένη, κάτι που εκτίμησα ιδιαίτερα για ένα σύντομο. Ο οικοδεσπότης ήταν άψογος, ευγενικός και διαθέσιμος για ό,τι χρειάστηκα. Θα το ξαναπροτιμήσω σίγουρα στην επόμενη επίσκεψή μου στην Αθήνα.

Positive: Η διαμονή μου στο Executive Apartment στο Κολωνάκι ήταν εξαιρετική από κάθε άποψη. Ο χώρος ήταν πεντακάθαρος, άνετος και εξοπλισμένος με ό,τι χρειαζόμουν για μια ευχάριστη διαμονή. Η τοποθεσία είναι ιδανική, στην καρδιά του Κολωνακίου, με εύκολη πρόσβαση σε εστιατόρια, καφέ, μαγαζιά και συγκοινωνίες.

Ένα μεγάλο συν ήταν η εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση από την ομάδα διαχείρισης. Ήταν ευγενικοί, πρόθυμοι και πάντα διαθέσιμοι να με καθοδηγήσουν για το πού να φάω, πού να περπατήσω και να μου δώσουν χρήσιμες συμβουλές για τη γύρω περιοχή. Επιπλέον, ό,τι χρειάστηκα κατά τη διάρκεια της διαμονής μου, το φρόντισαν άμεσα και αποτελεσματικά.

Σίγουρα θα επέλεγα ξανά αυτό το διαμέρισμα και το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα!

Perfect location, Kolonaki is my favorite neighborhood, many cafes, restaurants, and shops, nice to walk around. George is a very responsive and kind host. The apartment has all you need, very comfortable, clean and well decorated. It is in a basement, so for a few days is the perfect spot, highly recommended.

Kolanaki is an excellent location and the flat was in walking distance of the metro with a direct link to Athens Airport. The flat is basement level so there is no outlook or fresh air and was too hot to sleep without the air conditioner on. The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen seemed to be stocked with condiments and appliances. George was very responsive to my many questions and incredibly kind to me given my difficulties finding the flat, but ultimately, unlike staying in a hotel, it is an impersonal experience- the key is in a keylock safe. It is set up as a business rather than a hotel or B&B offering some sort of human transaction and connection. This may suit many travellers and likely the nexus of the Air B&B model. The flat was ideal for an overnight transit experience but a longer stay would not feel attractive to me due to the lack of natural light and air. However, others may not care about this at all. The location is in one of the loveliest areas.

Appartamento vicinissimo alle fermate dei mezzi pubblici , 10 minuti a piedi e si è già in piazza Syntagma. Appartamento bello e confortevole pur essendo in un piano seminterrato, unica pecca è che aprendo la finestra che sta sotto il piano strada potrebbe intrufolarsi qualche blatta dall esterno(a noi purtroppo è successo) Un grosso consiglio è quello di contrassegnare la porta di ingresso all appartamento o di inserire nella descrizione che la porta è quella che si trova frontalmente il cliente quando scende le scale (scrivere che è la porta a destra è fuorviante) Arrivando alle 2 di notte si fa fatica altrimenti ad accedere perché non puoi provare ad aprire tutte le porte rischiando di svegliare qualcuno in piena notte La chiave fa un po’ di difficoltà ad entrare nella serratura Una bottiglia d’acqua in frigo all arrivo del cliente potrebbe essere una gradevole sorpresa Migliorate queste piccole sciocchezze mi sento di consigliarvi assolutamente questa soluzione di pernotto

There was confusion between the messages from the host on the location and went to the wrong location and property. While the place was nice when we arrived there were 5+ cockroaches. He was great with communicating but when I asked for a refund in the morning there was no response.

The studio apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos. In fact, it is a little better since it has small extras, like charging cables. The bathroom is really good for Greek standards. And George is always very eager to help. However: 1) the post does not mention that the unit is what is known in Greece as a “semi-basement”, i.e., it has a window below the street level. Absolutely no problems with safety as the unit is located in one of the very best locations in Athens. Plus they have protected the window with strong plexiglass. But: 2) this makes the unit quite noisy. Every time the front door of the building closes - and unfortunately it slams! - it makes huge noise. Most of the tenants of the building are law offices, so they start to come in around 7 am. If you plan to be out & about in Athens from early morning, then this is a great unit for you. But if you prefer to sleep late, you’d better find a different unit.
